You can book a car directly through our website or contact our customer service team to reserve a specific vehicle for your travel dates.
Is it safe to visit Kashmir by own car?
Driving in Kashmir is generally safe, but road conditions can be challenging due to terrain and weather. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition and be cautious of local driving practices.
Are private cars allowed in Kashmir?
Yes, private cars are allowed in Kashmir. You will need to follow local regulations and permits if traveling to certain areas or restricted zones.
How are fine and voilations handled?
- The Renter is responsible for paying any fines, tolls, or traffic violations incurred during the rental period.
- The Rental Company reserves the right to charge the Renter for any fines or penalties related to the use of toll roads, parking violations, or other traffic offences.
What happens if I reutrn the car with extra fuel?
- The Renter bears the responsibility of refuelling the vehicle prior to its return at the
designated drop-off location. We kindly request the Renter to refuel the vehicle according to
the estimated distance to be covered during their journey and ensure that the fuel levels
match those at the time of rental handover. Any surplus fuel (gasoline, diesel, electric
charge) left in the vehicle will not be eligible for a refund of any charges. - The vehicle will be provided with a minimum of 15 kilometers worth of fuel (gasoline,
diesel, electric charge). Beyond this initial amount, the Renter is responsible for refilling the
fuel(gasoline, diesel, electric charge) from the nearest fuel (gasoline, diesel, electric charge)
station of their choice. - For electric vehicles, the Renter must recharge the vehicle using the provided charging
cables and follow the instructions for safe charging practices.
What happens if I forget my personal belongings in the car?
Wildfloc does not take any responsibility for personal belongings left by you in the car.
- Please remove all your personal belongings from the car before ending the trip
- If you end up forgetting any belongings in the car, you may reach out to our customer support team to retrieve it
What does Fastag enabled means?
“FASTag enabled” means:
– The car will be equipped with a FASTag.
– You’ll have the option to recharge it if you plan to use toll roads. FASTag charges will be born by the customer during your booking period.
Who will recharge the FASTag?
During your booking, the FASTag will be recharged if the balance is low. You can top up the FASTag according to your usage during the rental period. For recharge details, please contact our customer support team.
When the vehicle should be returned?
The Renter must return the vehicle at the agreed-upon date and time specified in the
rental agreement. Late returns may result in additional charges.
- Before handing over the vehicle, the Renter should remove all personal belongings and
ensure the vehicle is in a clean and tidy condition as was handed over to the Renter. - The Company representative will inspect the vehicle upon its return, and the Renter will
be notified of any damages or discrepancies within 24hrs after their booking is completed. - On the last day of your booking the Renter agrees to drop the car back by 4 PM.
How are damages and repairs handled?
The Renter is liable for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period, beyond
normal wear and tear.
- In the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle, the Renter must immediately
inform the Company and follow their instructions for reporting the incident. - The Renter should not undertake any repairs without the prior approval of the Rental
company, as this may void insurance coverage.
How are extensions or early returns managed?
- In the event that the Renter desires to extend the rental period, it is essential to get in
touch with a Company representative at least 24 hours before the scheduled booking
completion to discuss and finalise the extension arrangements. Kindly note that extensions
are subject to vehicle availability, and there may be additional charges associated with the
extended rental period. - No refunds will be provided for early returns or unused rental days.
- The security deposit will be refunded back within 24 hrs after the booking is completed.
- In the event of any damage to the vehicle the repair cost will be deducted from the
security deposit.
Is self-drive allowed in Kashmir?
Self-drive in Kashmir is subject to scrutiny. Therefore, it’s crucial to review local regulations and road conditions before beginning your trip.
Can we hire a car in Kashmir?
Yes, you can hire cars in Kashmir from us. Ensure to carry your documents before making a booking.
Does Ola or Uber work's in Kashmir?
Ola does not currently operate in Kashmir. Local taxi services and car rentals are available instead.
Can we take our car to Gulmarg?
Yes, you can drive to Gulmarg. Ensure to check road conditions and any specific requirements for vehicles traveling to high-altitude areas.
What are the requirements to rent a self-drive car?
You must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and provide a government-issued photo ID. A one time payment is is also required for the security deposit.
What documents do I need to bring when picking up the car?
Please bring your valid driver’s license, a government-issued photo ID, and the credit card used for the booking. Foreign nationals should also bring their passport.
Is there a security deposit required?
Yes, a security deposit is required, which varies depending on the car model. The deposit will be refunded after the car is returned in good condition.
Are there any mileage limits on the rental?
No, there are no mileage limits.
Can someone else drive the car during the rental period?
Yes, additional drivers can be added to the rental agreement. They must meet the same requirements as the primary driver and be present at the time of pick-up.
What is your cancellation policy?
